On 10 January 2017, a set of instructions were sent to Martine Aboucaya to paint and overpaint the three columns inside the exhibition space, 5 rue Sainte Anastase, in a predetermined order. Each coating was to be painted at a specific date. The final layer (white) was applied the day before the opening. Since the closing of the exhibition, 4 March 2017, the work remains as an indiscernible feature of the building's architecture. The show was entitled Vanishing.
